Would you like to take your startup to the next level? Enroll in Acelera BA, a training program that we promote together with the Ministry of Economic Development and Production of the City, which offers you tools so that you are better prepared when looking for investment, presenting your pitch and conquering new investors.
The selected projects will be able to access training provided by experts and learn more about the process to engage with venture capital funds. The registration stage closes on May 31 and the start of the training cycle begins on June 15 and ends on July 27.
At Acelera BA you will learn to identify the target investor that best suits your project and present your idea effectively. This program will offer all the necessary tools to grow your project and attract the right investors.
Who can participate?
Those technology-based companies that meet the following requirements may participate:
- Legal persons with registered office and/or economic activity in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires that have technology-based projects and a minimum viable product (MVP) and are seeking investment.
- The completed registration form with the signature of the legal representative or proxy, and must accompany a copy of the power of attorney proving sufficient legal status.
- Statute that proves the existence and validity of the company with more than one (1) year old, duly registered with the General Inspectorate of Justice (IGJ).
- Act of appointment of current authorities, duly registered with the General Inspectorate of Justice (IGJ). - Proof of registration in the current Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP).
- Proof of registration in the Gross Income tax or its exemption before the current Government Administration of Public Revenues (AGIP).
- Executive Summary (Deck), in which you must describe the project you are seeking to finance.
The first 30 registered technology-based companies that meet all the aforementioned requirements will be selected for the program.
How does Acelera BA work?
The trainings will have a total duration of two and a half months. There will also be an opening meeting on June 8 at one of the Government offices of the City of Buenos Aires.
In the first stage, the first 30 companies that meet the selection criteria will participate, who will receive as a general benefit a structured training in 4 modules dictated by experts in each subject.
In them, the following topics will be addressed: - Recommendations in the preparation and design of the business plan and presentation of the project. - Project valuation. - Legal and tax aspects. - Development of high performance work teams.
In the second stage, the best 10 projects will be selected, among the 30 selected in the previous stage, who will receive as an additional benefit the possibility of holding meetings with potential investors and accessing two specialized training sessions in small groups. The start of the second stage will be on July 16.
The following topics will be presented at this stage:
- First-person experience with a benchmark of the entrepreneurial/investor ecosystem
- Investor relationship process (agreement between the project and the investor)
